Leadership often means carrying tension before there is a clean answer.

The immature move is to make your uncertainty everyone else’s weather. The equally bad move is to hide so much that people invent worse stories.

The middle lane is controlled context. Share enough for people to orient and act. Keep raw anxiety, private speculation, and unprocessed resentment out of the operating channel.

Operator artifact: split your notes into three buckets: share now, hold until verified, process elsewhere. Only the first bucket belongs in the team update.

Field test: Share enough context to orient people while keeping raw anxiety out of the channel.
