Feedback tests whether your identity is too close to your performance.

Some people collapse and make the feedback giver take care of them. Others litigate every sentence. Both patterns make future truth more expensive.

The useful move is to receive the signal without swallowing every interpretation. Ask for one example. Confirm the impact. Decide what you will test. Follow up with evidence.
