An influence audit checks whether your standing is clean and durable.

Look at recent asks. Did people understand the tradeoff and have room to disagree? Did they see the full reason? Did the relationship get stronger after the ask, or did it get a little more guarded?

The aftertaste matters. If people comply but become more careful around you, your influence may be extracting more than it earns. Durable influence leaves people clearer, not cornered.

Operator artifact: audit five asks: objective, tradeoff shared, room to disagree, relationship aftertaste, follow-through, and reputational debt created or avoided.

Field test: Audit credibility, timing, boundaries, and aftertaste.
